Product Manager (m/w) wanted for a new venture-backed Ecommerce startup starting from July on out of the wework coworking space in Munich.

If you have finished your Bachelor or Master studies in Business/Economics, Media or even Computer Science and are looking for an exciting challenge to build the Product Management of a promising business pm me. First experience in a start-up/tech environment or consulting is a plus but not necessarily required if you are smart, data-driven and motivated to build something from scratch. You will be responsible for the whole conversion funnel/process, web analytics, A/B-testing and report directly to the CTO and CEO. Salary is competitive and you will be able to grow quickly and build your own team if the business grows as expected.

Who we are

We are a small venture backed Ecommerce business in a interesting industry and promising market starting from July 2018 and operating out of Munich. Our team consists out of a strong CTO (including engineering team) as well as experienced business people who have worked for companies like Google, AutoScout24, Accenture or CHECK24 before. You will learn more about the team and the business when we decide to interview you.

The role includes…

  • You are responsible for the whole website and your main task is to improve conversion rates throughout all conversion steps and devices.
  • You will be responsible to develop an internal customer portal.
  • You will be responsible for web analytics (together with Online Marketing) and develop KPIs to track, monitor and improve conversion rates.
  • You will closely work together with Online Marketing, Content Management and SEO as well as Operations Management and report to the CTO and CEO.
  • You will conduct and setup A/B-tests as well as consumer panels to improve our website and increase conversion rate.
  • You will recruit, hire and lead interns and working students as well as further team members when the business grows as expected
  • Since we are a small startup company you will have the opportunity to develop your own role according to your strengths. Moreover, you will also support other functions and gather experience from multiple functions (e.g. SEO or Online Marketing).

We are looking for you if you…

  • own a Bachelor (BA or BSc) or Master (MA or MSc) degree in the field of Business, Computer Science, Economics, Media or in any similar field of study.
  • have made first working experience in a start-up environment, consulting business, ecommerce or tech company. This also includes internships in the relevant fields. Generally we believe that you can learn everything if you are a smart and motivated person. So first Product Management experience is not necessarily required if you can convince us that you are eager to learn and grow.
  • are an analytical, pragmatic and data-driven mind who is able to make decisions independently.
  • are willing to go the extra mile and build a successful business from scratch.
  • have an affinity for ecommerce businesses and technology.
  • are fluent in German and/or English.
